The hybrid variants of the Accord and CR-V play a pivotal role in Honda’s electrification strategy, constituting over 50% of the total sales for both models in 2024. These models feature an innovative more advanced Honda two-motor hybrid system, which ensures optimal efficiency without sacrificing dynamic performance or packaging, thereby delivering a driving experience that is both sportier and more comfortable.
About the Car and Driver 10Best List
In order to participate in the 10Best, a benchmark of excellence for over four decades, vehicles must meet specific criteria. Eligible vehicles include those that are entirely new, were 2023 10Best winners, were unavailable for the 2023 competition, or underwent significant updates. Additionally, all vehicles must adhere to a base-price cap of $110,000 and be available for sale no later than January 31, 2024. Following a rigorous evaluation process involving two weeks of testing over 80 new cars, trucks, and SUVs meeting these criteria, Car and Driver editors assign each vehicle a score ranging from zero to 100. These scores are then tallied and averaged to determine the prestigious 10Best of 2024.
